Manjati i majtë Xhorxh Soros njihet për pagesat e majme që jep me qëllim ndikimin në partitë politike të vendeve të ndryshme. Në Shqipëria Soros është i njohur për ndërhyrjet e tij, pasi kontrollon kryeministrin e Shqipërisë, Edi Ramën dhe të gjithë qeverinë e tij.
Soros kontrollon edhe PS-në dhe kryetarin e Bashkisë, Erion Veliaj.
