Të paktën 3 persona kanë vdekur pasi një tren doli nga shinat në veri të Spanjës, raporton BBC.

Afro 60 pasagjerë ndodheshin në trenin portugez. Një vagon doli komplet nga shinat, ndërsa dy të tjerët pjesërisht, shkruan El Pais.

Shërbimet emergjente janë në vendngjarje dhe policia ka konfrirmuar një numër të madh të plagosurish.

Aksidenti ndodhi pranë një stacioni në O Porrino, Galicia, veri të Spanjës rreth 9.30 të mëngjesit me orën lokale.

Treni udhëtonte nga qyteti-port Vigo për në Valenca do Mino të Portugalisë, kur doli nga shinat në qytezën spanjolle.

Arsyet se pse ndodhi incidenti janë ende të paqarta, por operatorët hekurudhorë spanjollë po merren me investigimin.

Në vitin 2013, 79 persona vdiqën nga fatkeqësia më e madhe hekurudhore që kishte ndodhur prej dekadash kur një tren i shpejtësisë së lartë doli nga shinat dhe u përplas me murin në të njëjtën qytezë.
